Activities and Schedules

In view of the aforesaid objectives and following the charter of BIMSTEC, CSIRD in collaboration with its partner organisations has undertaken an in-depth study to develop an appropriate framework for enhancing closer ties between BIMSTEC countries and Japan in areas of (a) trade and investment, (b) tourism, (c) transport and communication, (d) technology, (e) energy, and (f) fisheries. CSIRD’s partner organisations and experts are responsible for preparing the report on the sub-sector allocated to it. These reports will be presented at three international conferences during next three years (FY 2005-2007).
